IVERSON CLASSIC ANNOUNCES 2022 SELECTIONS, HEADLINED BY STAR PLAYERS LIKE AMARI BAILEY, KEYONTE GEORGE & DIOR JOHNSON
The top-ranked All-American Game's selections include a wide range of talent as the Iverson Classic returns to Memphis, TN with SHOWTIME Sports.
Allen Iverson and Iverson Classic have officially announced that Iverson Classic Week 2022 will take place April 26th through April 30th in Memphis, TN. The elite All-American event, now in its 6th year of existence, will feature a lineup that includes the best high school players in the country. SHOWTIME® Sports will act as presenter of the event with broadcast details to be announced in the coming weeks.
“This game is exactly what I would have wanted to play in when I was their age,” said Iverson, who is a co-founder of the event along with businessman Jai Manselle and grassroots basketball veteran Bobby Bates, “I’m proud to have every single one of them here and proud that they chose to compete in my game. This roster is unbelievable.”
The Iverson Classic All-Americans are divided into two teams: Team Loyalty and Team Honor. There are 23 selections announced with a 24th player to be selected during Iverson Classic week. As in previous years, each team will be coached and mentored by a former NBA legend. See below for a full list of selections:
