Wiggins Wins One-on-One Contest at Iverson Classic
Future Maryland guard Aaron Wiggins went head-to-head against some of the nation’s top players in the country and won King of the Court at the Allen Iverson Roundball Classic Thursday. The 6-foot-6 Wiggins defeated future Ohio State guard Luther Muhammad -- considered one of the best defenders in the 2018 class -- in the final one-on-one battle. Wiggins clinched the win on a long contested fadeaway jumper over his right shoulder. Other participants included Jahvon Quinerly (Villanova), Brandon Slater (Villanova), Kevin Porter (USC), Ja’Vonte Smart (LSU), Elijah Weaver (USC), Luguentz Dort (Arizona State), Ayo Dosunmu (Illinois), Landers Nolley (Virginia Tech) and Courtney Ramey (unsigned).
